Welcome to Dubuque Area Homeschoolers! We are an eclectic group of homeschooling families who come together to offer opportunities to socialize, make friends, and find support. We offer weekly gatherings including unstructured socialization events, field trips, naturalist adventures, as well as parent support, mom’s nights out, and semi-regular parties! We encourage you to join us for any activities that you feel would benefit your family!
All families who are homeschooling or curious about homeschooling are welcome to join us. We have no overlay of religious or political philosophy as we believe that when you get right down to it, we all want the best for our children. Our main goal as a group is to provide enrichment opportunities for parents and children alike. We only ask that an atmosphere of respect and kindness be present not only online but in all of our in-person get-togethers.
While many of us are members of some of the various wonderful homeschooling groups in the Dubuque area, we hope you will join with us as well. Many of the other area groups have specific religious or curriculum based leanings, and that is great, but for those who haven’t found a social network or who are looking for something in addition to their current group, we welcome you to try us out.

To fully access the possibilities available to DAH members, you’ll need a site membership to keep up with events, as well as a DAH membership.
